Camp Content
The Altitude Summer Camp is a two-week fully inclusive residential summer camp. We offer safety, enjoyment,
learning and hundreds of activities and specialist camps under the professional guidance of a team
of highly qualified and experienced coaches.
The Altitude Camps are arranged with a maximum group size of 8 and each person will have their
own experienced and dedicated mentor on hand to offer support and encouragement throughout the camp.
We focus on teaching respect, responsibility, leadership and appropriate risk taking, while learning
through discovery.

Morning
Campers will be divided into groups according to age and skill levels. Typically the morning will be devoted to each camps specialist subjects, for example language or sport.
Afternoon
During the afternoons our campers will join together to participate in an exciting and varied selection of activities and trips. These vary from sports, such as swimming, volley ball or ice skating, through to group mountain activities and team building games, glacier exploration, or trips away to see local historical sights such as the roman ruins at Martigny or the local Labyrinth or Chocolate Factory.

Evening
In the evening after dinner students will have the opportunity to be involved with a variety evening activities and adventures including a host of events such as ghost walks or disco nights, relaxing and imaginative games or perhaps some last minute preparation for the end of week show.

Our Promise to Exceed Your Expectations
Each and every camp is actively supervised by Camp Director Jon West who works with Altitude year round. Assisting him are staff members who have experience as professional coaches, school-teachers, psychologists, and specialists in specific sports and arts areas.
Every child is allocated a Group Leader who is responsible for the pastoral care throughout their stay. They are very much like an older brother or sister and will be with them from sunrise through to sunset. Our staff will make sure campers are getting the most from their stay, are having fun and even that they brush their teeth at night! We also have the camp mother on hand who is excellent at communicating with older teenagers, getting them involved, but also giving them the space when required.
