A Day in the Life
There is in fact no typical day with Altitude Summer Camps…each and every day will be filled with
unique experiences, adventures, rewarding friendships and new life experiences.
|
|
Morning Meeting
Each day starts with a wake up call from one of the Altitude Team. After breakfast it’s off to
the Pine Trees for our morning meeting. Here the camp community shares ideas, presents skits, tells
stories, raises community issues, makes announcements, and offers program suggestions. You will
also meet with your Team Leader to chat about the plan for the day.
|
Daily Schedule
The morning is composed of each student’s chosen Specialist Academy. Lunch will either be served
in the chalet or a packed lunch will be supplied on route to one of the many after-noon activities
or cultural excursions. Before the evening meal is served there is time for campers to relax, visit
one another, play music, finish arts and craft projects, take extra lessons or rehearse for the show.

Evening Activities
As the sun goes down around Verbier, the evening brings with it a host of charming activities, such as campfire songs, dances, sports, and talent shows. Altitude also provides an evening entertainments package to include: music classes, new games, drama and dance performances, moonlight soccer, swimming before it gets dark, overnight camping in one of the many mountain huts.
