Last week we enjoyed the first week of the Altitude Summer Camps 2014. We were blessed with generally good weather during the week and it has been great to see all the children having fun.
Our younger participants between 3 and 5 years old have joined the camps in the mornings this week between 09h00 and 13h00. They have been building fires, making papermache, painting rocks and many more fun activities with our Polar Bear leader Sindy.
Language and Mountain Adventure Camp 6 – 16 years
The language courses have got off to a great start, and many of the children have been gaining more and more confidence speaking English whilst having fun with their new international friends. The mountain adventure camp has also been going well and it has been very nice to see some returning children from last year.
During the afternoons the children have been on a visit to the largest underground lake in Europe- the Lac Souterrain. Check out the article on our website for more information on this amazing place. They have also been hiking, swimming, ice skating and playing mini golf.
So all in all it has been a very positive start to the Summer Camp program and we can’t wait to see what the next few weeks have in store!
