The third week of our Summer Camps was full of sunshine and warm weather. To cool down we decided to organize an extra visit to the outdoor swimming pool. We also visited the Mauvoisin dam, a new activity we have added to the summer camp schedule. We have had some really good days of hiking, climbing, shelter building, ice skating, mini golf and mountain biking.
It has been the busiest week of Altitude Camps ever. Due the increased bookings we have been using a new residential chalet for the first time, only a few steps away from our main residential chalet.
Last week we joined the language camps for a few hours to see the progress the children have made over the last couple of weeks. Valentin from Russia and Rosey from Saudi Arabia are taking English lessons with Rachel. Neither of them spoke English before the course, but whilst playing and chatting with them we discovered they are now able to understand conversation. They can be very proud of the level they have reached over the last few weeks.
This week will be the last week of the Residential Summer Camps. The Day Camps will run until 22nd August and we still have a few places left.
