The busiest summer in the history of Altitude International Summer Camps is slowly coming to an end next week. Over the last couple of weeks we have been very busy with day camps and the last residential camps took place over the last week of July. Last week we held a charity camp for children of the Honeypot foundation, a new initiave to provide respite breaks for children at risk as well as for children who are full time carers.
The Altitude Language Camps have been a tremendous success this summer. At our language school in Verbier there have been English and French classes for different age groups every single week. In the morning the children followed a specific language program and during the afternoons they practiced their language skills whilst joining the sports activities and excursions. We are very proud of all the children and we have seen their knowledge and confidence grow during the camps.
Mountain Adventure Camps
Despite the unpredictable weather our mountain adventure campers have enjoyed a fun-filled program of adventure activities and excursions. The children have developed new skills in activities such as climbing, mountain activities and map reading. This successful program has already been running for a few years now, but each summer sees new developments and successes.
After a busy and successful season at the Altitude Camps we are slowly winding down and already excited to meet old and new campers next summer.
