Join one of our Altitude English Language Camps to develop your English language skills, make new friends from all over the world and experience the most professional, educational, and fun filled language coaching available, delivered by native and qualified teachers.

Morning Language Lessons

Our English Language Camp is designed for all abilities, from those with no previous experience in the language, through to those wanting to refine their English skills and improve pronunciation and vocabulary. Focus is on students learning to use the language in a conversational way from day one, and activities are purposely designed to feel less like a typical classroom environment, encouraging fun and practical learning.

Each day, from Monday to Friday, children will meet with their language teacher after breakfast, who after assessing their level on day one, will deliver a structured learning program for their time at the camp. The language program will include a mixture of classroom and outdoor based learning including vocab, conversation and grammar.

Our class sizes are small, with up to a maximum of 8 students per teacher, allowing every child to receive one-on-one attention from our fully qualified and professional teachers who all have a wealth of experience coaching children from all around the world.

An Action-Packed Afternoon and Evening Programme

The language programme runs from 9am-12pm, and after a healthy lunch campers will also enjoy a balanced afternoon program running until 4pm of sports, team building games, and local excursions together with campers on the mountain adventure camp programme. All residential campers participate in an exciting evening programme each evening, and enjoy an additional excursion day each week on Saturdays.

Our afternoon and evening programmes are run by native English staff, giving campers the opportunity to practice and refine their new English skills interacting with staff and campers, as well as learn new vocabulary.

The international environment of the camp helps children to form new international friendships whilst learning to work alongside other campers.

Our Chalets

Altitude Residential Summer Language and Mountain Adventure Camps include full board accommodation in Verbier, Switzerland. Campers stay in traditional Swiss-style private chalets, conveniently located within easy walking distance of the town centre of Verbier, as well as the mountain lifts and sports facilities.

Altitude staff co-ordinate activities between 9am and 9pm each day, and staff stay in the chalet each night with the campers providing 24 hour supervision.

Bedrooms are split boy/girl and we sleep no more than four campers to a room, each with its own private bathroom, to provide children enough personal space as well as friends to share bunk time and stories with. Internet, indoor games and table tennis are included in all chalets to allow children to relax during the free time and also to communicate with their parents whilst being away.

Camp Mealtimes

We understand the importance of providing quality accommodation and healthy, nutritious food. For this reason, we only employ experienced staff, and our chefs use fresh produce, with all meals freshly prepared on the day. We are also happy to cater for all dietary requirements.
