Gordon Porteous

International Summer Camp – Evening Duty Manager

Verbier Festival Music Camp Gordon PorteousGordon Porteous comes from Glasgow (Scotland) where he attended university and graduated in Earth Sciences. He came to Verbier 10 years ago to enjoy the off-piste skiing during the winter months, but in the end he decided to stay year round.

Gordon’s love for the mountains, the terrain for skiing and the atmosphere around the valley are the reasons why he would like to spend the rest of his life in Switzerland. He speaks English and moderate French and loves sports like skiing and in the Summer road biking, tennis and hiking.

Gordon has previously worked for Altitude Summer Camps as the Operations Manager of the Music Camp, but this year is moving to our International Camps for a new challenge. His previous camp experience and team spirit focused attitude are the reasons why he is the best person to take on one of our Duty Manager roles this Summer.
